The course aims to provide advanced instruction and training in
financial markets and instruments, financial engineering, and in the
techniques and methodologies of information systems design and
prototyping. The taught modules provide in-depth knowledge of the
theoretical and applied aspects of the subject matter. The dissertation
introduces participants to alternative research strategies and
methodological issues, and provides training in the management and
reporting of a research project in the area of finance and the relevant
computing application.
